Requirements
- Bachelors degree in nursing upon hire
- Minimum of 1-3 years leadership experience
- Registered Nurse: IA
- Basic Life Support - CPR
Responsibilities
- Oversee the functional and technical job performance of team members.
- Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team.
- Allocate and direct staffing needs to meet patient, unit, and Hospital needs, and collaborate with others to ensure overall staffing needs are met.
- Manage performance including: goal-setting, clarifying job expectations, monitoring performance progress, providing feedback, recognizing, developing skills, and addressing performance issues related to work and commitments using corrective action.
- Monitor and oversee customer and patient engagement, growth, quality initiatives, and patient safety for multiple departments, utilizing regulatory and organization knowledge and policy for multiple areas as separate functions.
- Coordinate and manage operating systems, operational standardization, service standards, and communication methods in line with system policies and processes.
- Ensure optimal utilization of department resources within guidelines set forth through capital and operation budget planning, implementation of practices that achieve defined objectives, and benchmark data.
- Assure appropriate level of understanding, awareness, and compliance with all applicable Joint Commission, federal, state, and agency laws, regulations, guidelines, and professional standards.
