About The Position

Directs and supervises a team within the Auto Claims Department. Supervises client performance and trains and develops team members.

  • Carries out supervisory, responsibilities in accordance with Revecore's policies and applicable Federal, State, and local laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for meeting and maintaining region benchmarks and goals, including revenue, aged and overall production goals
  • Supervises a team within the Auto Claims Department and performs all supervisory responsibilities described below
  • Compiles and reviews productivity reports and audits such as revenue benchmarking, aged accounts, etc. Provides follow-up with staff and appropriate departments
  • Responds to provider requests by reopening or closing accounts. Distributes or completes special projects for clients who require additional attention
  • Coordinates with Senior Management to discuss issues, incentives, and special projects
  • Assists with and attends continuous training through activities such as work review, QA sessions, Lunch n Learns, team meetings, one-on-one coaching, and Continuing Education Classes
  • Tracks and reports team revenue on a daily basis
  • Optimize and increase Process Efficiencies
  • Maintain Team Baseline
  • Maintain Aging by Client
  • Reviews, edits, and approves denial requests. Ensures Claims Specialists are using correct text and respond to any questions, issues, etc. with regard to the denial process
  • Develops employees to be able to process their own denials
  • Conducts work reviews and assesses employees' worked accounts by reviewing errors reported by regional QA Department
  • Provides continuous training and assistance to team members by answering relevant questions
  • Alerts Claims Specialists of daily and weekly checklist goals. Documents and reviews weekly team performance
  • Reviews and investigates ICR and QA enquiries regarding client questions, issues and updates
  • Works with ICR to resolve issues with client accounts.
  • Performs special projects as assigned
  • Maintain confidential information, whether verbal, written or electronic, which I will learn in the course of my work at Revecore
  • Will not access or attempt to access confidential data that is unrelated to my job duties in the course of my work at Revecore
  • Will not disclose Protected Health Information (PHI) in violation of law
