About The Position

Reporting to the Director, Airport Operations Control, the IOC Supervisor, Airport Operations Control, is part of a team of several supervisors, who support the PSS and DCC teams from the IOC, in managing day-to-day operations, and provide the necessary follow-up in special situations. He plays a key role in managing irregular operations, supporting his teams and ensuring communication with the Duty Manager and the various departments involved. He ensures that service levels are respected and that all Air Transat procedures are followed. He also participates in various meetings and operational committees, and follows up on services that have not met established requirements. He provides an analysis of the causes and recommendations for corrective measures, and prepares all documentation relating to ongoing follow-ups. The supervisor handles files requiring special assistance, and ensures good communication with all departments involved in operations. He also handles performance reviews and disciplinary follow-ups when required, as well as certain administrative tasks such as scheduling. He plays an active role in establishing procedures and providing training for his agents.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent command of French (written and spoken)
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
  • At least 5 years of experience in the airport industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
  • Proficiency in Amadeus Altea CM
