About The Position

Supervisor, Academic Programs at Clearfield Job Corps Center in Clearfield, UT. This role is responsible for the high school equivalency (HSE) applied academics, evening studies, and driver's education programs. The position supervises academic instructors and assists in the management of all academic programs. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in education or associated field.
Two (2) years of related experience, one (1) of which must be in a supervisory capacity.
Experience with youth.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Computer proficiency required.
A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record, unless waived by management.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and manage the administrative and programmatic activities of the HSE, applied academics, evening studies, and driver's education programs.
Monitor academic performance reports for quality and accuracy.
Develop program enhancement strategies to meet PMS expectations.
Track statistical performance on a weekly basis to ensure program goals are met.
Provide the academic manager support in implementing department and personnel changes as approved by the Center Director.
Provide the academic manager assistance in monitoring and controlling expenditures; review and recommend changes to budget authorizations.
Assist in the development and implementation of new and revised policies and procedures affecting the academic department and specifically the HSE, driver's education and applied academic programs.
Review and audit all assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and effectiveness of delivery of services to students.
Prepare related reports.
