About The Position

The Supervising Mail Operations Pharmacist is a registered Pharmacist responsible for the accurate and timely dispensing of prescribed medication to patients. This role operates within thorough, prescribed guidelines and procedures, using independent judgment to solve basic problems. The Supervising Mail Operations Pharmacist collaborates with management and top professionals in selecting methods, techniques, and analytical approaches. This role oversees daily mail-order pharmacy operations, ensuring the accurate, safe, and compliant dispensing and distribution of medications. The Supervising Mail Operations Pharmacist leads pharmacy associates, supports quality standards, and drives operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, or a PharmD
  • Licensed as a PHARMACIST in Arizona
  • Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs
  • Minimum of one year Supervisory experience or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Proven organization and effective time management skills
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills
  • Proficient with computers
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily mail-order pharmacy workflow and operations.
  • Ensure prescription accuracy, quality assurance, and medication tracking standards are met.
  • Verify medication orders for safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Supervise, coach, and support pharmacy associates.
  • Resolve escalated operational and dispensing issues.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, and service performance.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations and policies.
  • Maintain required documentation and support audit readiness.
  • Hold associates accountable for quality, compliance, and performance expectations.
