About The Position
SUNY Broome Community College invites applications for qualified candidates to teach as part-time Supervising Dentists within the Dental Hygiene Department. Supervising Dentists will teach in the on-campus clinic. Opportunities vary by semester. The Dental Hygiene department is establishing a pool of applicants to fill potential part-time Supervising Dentist positions. Applications are accepted and reviewed on an ongoing basis.
Requirements
- Active New York State Dental license (D.D.S. or D.M.D.)
- Dental Clinical experience
- Current CPR certification by New York State approved provider
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without a visa sponsorship
Nice To Haves
- Teaching experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Review of medical histories
- Approval of impressions and mouthguard fittings
- Adjusting dental sealants
- Review of dental radiographic images
Benefits
- The hourly rate for this position is $88.01
