About The Position

As an EY Geo Hub Field Marketing Specialist, you will strategically position EY’s distinctive brand through a range of integrated marketing programs aimed at clients and prospects within one of EY’s seven Geographic Hubs across the US. Success in this role will be the effective deployment of buyers, cross-sector and Growth Markets Marketing campaigns into the Geographic Hub. This includes creating multiple connected touchpoints that lead to sales inquiries; analyzing trends to provide insights back to account teams; and liaising with Sectors, Service Lines and Alliances to curate optimal client engagement experiences. Working closely with multiple Office Managing Partners, you’ll be expected to develop a Geographic Hub marketing strategy based on business priorities. You will have overall responsibility for local events, email automation, ey.com content, webcasts, paid advertising and sponsorships and ensure they are aligned with the overall EY US Marketing strategy. You will be responsible for managing event budgets and tracking ROI. This role will be part of a team, with peer colleagues performing similar responsibilities and all reporting into the US Field Marketing leader.

Requirements

  • A solid understanding of the go-to-market Marketing and Sales processes in a complex organization.
  • Possess the ability and confidence to professionally interact with EY partners and C-Suite leaders
  • Experience managing large events and sponsorships and strong understanding of Marketing channels and tactics
  • Intellectual curiosity about the work EY does, how we help our clients and the macroeconomic business environment impacting our clients
  • Understanding of advanced marketing and communication principles
  • Experience working with Digital Marketing tools, including Marketo
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in virtual teams
  • Strong project management skills and proficiency at effectively managing multiple complex and time-sensitive projects
  • Proven talent at building relationships and influencing without authority to produce results and outcomes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling marketing messages
  • Efficient time management and prioritization skills are essential, and extended hours are sometimes required
  • Responsibility to adhere to internal reporting requirements and risk management protocols

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a marketing or communications major.
  • An MBA is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of marketing and communications experience, with industry and/or professional services experience preferred.
  • Experience at a Creative and/or Marketing agency is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop integrated campaigns that align to Growth Markets Business Priorities, CXO buyer groups, local brand activations and Financial Services local events/sponsorships to support multiple stages of the EY client life cycle.
  • Lead the development and deployment of multi-channel campaigns across Geographic Hub
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage multiple internal stakeholder expectations
  • Support leaders in building trust with CXO clients and targets
  • Effectively work with local business organizations (i.e. Business Journals, Chambers, etc.) where there may be opportunities to advance the EY brand in the market
  • Work closely with internal business groups such as Talent, Community Engagement, Executive Assistants, Creative Services, Digital Marketing team, etc.
  • Generate new tactics and fresh client experiences that position EY as a transformative and technology forward leader
  • Create differentiated in-person experiences
  • Curate thought leadership to highlight and disseminate thought-provoking points of view
  • Collaborate closely with the EY US Marketing Digital and Paid Media Centers of Excellence (COEs) to leverage digital marketing tools.
  • Engage in peer networks with other Field Marketers to share knowledge, leading practices, and collaborate on cross-Geo Hub Marketing efforts, when appropriate
  • Track and report on Field marketing effectiveness
  • Effectively manage multiple concurrent marketing campaigns and activations
  • Work independently to resolve challenges while maintaining an active dialogue with leaders and stakeholders
  • Understands complex business issues, EY’s solutions, and buyer issues and agenda; can translate EY’s ability to solve client issues into marketing strategy and clear messaging
  • Proficiency working in a global, highly matrixed enterprise, with the ability to navigate across Service Lines, Sectors, and functional areas to bring the best of EY to local clients
