About The Position
Responsible for the maintenance team in electricity and instrumentation (E/I). Ensures that E/I personnel provide efficient maintenance, repair and troubleshooting services to the various production lines. Support preventive and predictive maintenance efforts. Maintain quality standards and control costs.
Requirements
- Technical Diploma in electrical or instrumentation maintenance
- 5+ years of related experience with leadership and troubleshooting skills
Responsibilities
- Promote and provide a safe workplace, seek improvements, and support H&S program.
- Lead a motivated, efficient and engaged team and provide career development opportunities.
- Conduct monthly crew meetings for safety, environment and operations.
- Support compliance with collective agreements and sound union/management/employee relations.
- Use systems, procedures such as “Work Flow Process” and resources effectively to ensure maximum performance of E/I maintenance personnel.
- Coordinate routine, planned and unscheduled work to ensure maximum OEE in conjunction with stakeholders
- Use the site maintenance management system for planning, procurement and recording maintenance activities.
- Track department labor and material spending versus spending and explain variances.
