Requirements

Experience supervising unionized staff
Ability to work outdoors and on different work shifts
Demonstrate autonomy, team spirit, flexibility and judgment
Decision-making ability
Ability to communicate in English and French (written and spoken); Given the diversity of our team and the need to communicate with local, pan‑Canadian, and international clients and partners, proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written, is required.
Have a diploma of vocational or college studies
Have a Class 5 driving licence

Responsibilities

Plan the implementation of ship loading and unloading operations
Determine the equipment and labour required for operations
Coordinate the execution of maritime operations and cargo handing on the terminal
Supervise the work teams under your responsibility
Enforce health and safety guidelines in the workplace
Prepare performance and cost control reports
Represent the company in various committees or assemblies
