About The Position

This is a cooperative education (COOP) supervisor position for the Fall 2026 term. The role is based at Pratt & Whitney Canada's Longueuil facility. The intern will gain experience in managing employees in a unionized environment, ensuring smooth daily operations, assigning tasks, acting as a departmental resource, and applying collective agreement rules. The position also involves acting as a health and safety agent, deploying strategies to reduce non-quality, and managing projects related to continuous improvement in areas such as layout, health and safety, environment, and productivity.

Requirements

Be eligible to work in Canada.
Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
French language (advanced level: spoken and written)
Currently pursuing studies in the field of Engineering, Human Resources (HR) or Operations and Production Management (OPM)
Mastery of basic office software (mainly: Excel, Outlook, One Note)

Nice To Haves

Communication and presentation skills
Autonomy, leadership, sense of priorities, initiative and diplomacy
Experience in manufacturing, lean manufacturing, SAP software, experience in change management

Responsibilities

Manage employees in a unionized environment by working closely with the supervisor (ensure smooth day-to-day operations, assign tasks, act as a resource person for the department, apply the rules of the collective agreement).
Act as an agent of prevention and compliance with occupational health and safety rules.
Take charge and deploy strategies to reduce non-quality.
Take charge of projects (layout, health and safety, environment, productivity, etc.) allowing for the continuous improvement of the department.
