About The Position

As a Supervised Instructor Therapist (ABA) on our team, you are an integral part of our specialized services for clients with Autism Spectrum Disorders or other developmental disabilities. You will work with an interdisciplinary team of experts to support your clients in achieving their goals. Our commitment to excellence goes beyond the way we serve our communities. Monarch House was established in 2009 in British Columbia as an interdisciplinary treatment centre for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families. It has now expanded its geographic network and services to include the full range of services for individuals with academic, behaviour, communication, learning, motor, physical, speech, social and vocational needs. Monarch House is a dynamic team of professionals providing challenging career opportunities and fulfilling roles in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario. Our professional staff work collaboratively and/or individually with each client and specifically tailor services to their needs. Our services can be provided in our centres, at clients’ homes and schools, in the community, and in specialized housing settings. Working with the fields’ thought leaders, we conduct our own research and are committed to continuous learning to provide the most effective treatments possible.

Requirements

Positive attitude, organized, and passion for learning
Willing to complete Criminal record check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
Legally authorized to work in Canada
Must have access to a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license

Responsibilities

Prepare and conduct comprehensive (intensive) ABA therapy sessions
Collect and graph data
Maintain client binders and materials
Maintain daily written communication logs with family and other staff
Demonstrate therapy sessions to families and other professionals as required
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
Uphold Centre policies and procedures
Attend training sessions, workshops, online courses, etc. as set out by Monarch House
Attend Monarch House social and public events
