About The Position

Price Chopper/Market 32 Supermarkets is accepting applications for future part-time openings across various departments. While most hiring occurs in the front end and night crew, individuals with previous experience may be hired into other departments. The company has a history of promoting from within, and part-time positions can lead to long-term careers for motivated individuals. Applicants can specify up to three departments of interest or select 'any department'. Applications are reviewed based on hiring needs, and selected candidates will be contacted for an interview.

Responsibilities

Provide Six-Star Service on the Front-End.
Prepare and sell homemade artisan breads in the Bakery.
Fill prescriptions, offer health counseling, and provide efficient service in the Pharmacy (for Registered Pharmacists or Pharmacy students).
Assist customers with floral orders, including online orders and custom bouquets.
Prepare and serve deli meats, salads, and sandwiches.
Stock and merchandise general merchandise, including first aid and seasonal products.
Stock, merchandise, and create displays for packaged foods in the Grocery department.
Provide high-quality fresh meat to customers in the Meat department.
Educate customers about the benefits of produce-rich diets and stock a variety of fruits and vegetables in the Produce department.
Provide fresh seafood, assist guests with purchasing and preparation, and offer "Seafood Smart" guidance.
