About The Position

Price Chopper/Market 32 Supermarkets is accepting applications for future part-time openings across various departments. While most hiring occurs in the front end and night crew, individuals with previous experience may be hired into other departments. The company has a history of promoting from within, posting full-time positions internally, offering potential for a long-term career for motivated individuals. Applications are reviewed based on hiring needs, and selected candidates will be contacted for an interview. Applicants can specify up to three departments of interest or select 'any department'.

Responsibilities

Provide Six-Star Service on the Front End.
Prepare and sell artisan breads in the Bakery.
Fill prescriptions, offer health care counseling, and provide friendly service in the Pharmacy (for Registered Pharmacists or Pharmacy students).
Assist customers with floral and plant selections in the Floral department.
Slice meats, prepare salads, and make sandwiches in the Deli/Food Service department.
Stock and merchandise non-food items, including seasonal products, in the General Merchandise department.
Stock shelves, merchandise products, and create displays in the Grocery department.
Provide high-quality fresh meat to customers in the Meat department.
Educate customers about produce and stock a variety of fruits and vegetables in the Produce department.
Provide fresh seafood, assist guests with purchasing and preparation, and promote 'Seafood Smart' options in the Seafood department.
