About The Position

Price Chopper/Market 32 Supermarkets is accepting applications for future part-time openings across various departments. While most hiring occurs in the front end and night crew, individuals with previous experience may be hired into other departments. The company has a history of promoting from within, and part-time positions can lead to long-term careers for motivated individuals. Applicants can specify up to three departments of interest or select "any department." Applications are reviewed based on hiring needs, and selected candidates will be contacted for an interview via phone or email. Unselected candidates will be notified via email.

Ability to read and write at the 8th grade level.

Responsibilities

Provide Six-Star Service in the Front-End department.
Prepare and sell artisan breads in the Bakery department.
Fill prescriptions, offer health counseling, and provide friendly service in the Pharmacy department (for Registered Pharmacists or Pharmacy students).
Assist customers with floral orders, custom bouquets, and plant selection in the Floral department.
Slice meats, prepare salads, and make sandwiches in the Deli/Food Service department.
Stock and merchandise first aid supplies and a variety of non-food items, including seasonal products, in the General Merchandise department.
Stock, merchandise, and create displays for packaged foods and staples in the Grocery department.
Provide high-quality fresh meat to customers in the Meat department.
Educate customers about produce and offer a variety of fruits, vegetables, and organic fare in the Produce department.
Provide fresh seafood, assist customers with preparation and serving, and offer seafood from local fishermen and around the world in the Seafood department.
