About The Position

RL James Exteriors is hiring a Superintendent to lead daily field operations on exterior restoration and building envelope projects across the Tampa Bay area. This is a field-based, full-time position in Tampa, Florida, and is not remote or hybrid. The Superintendent reports to the Project Manager and supervises work on existing, occupied structures, including high-rises, condominiums, and commercial properties. The role works with Project Managers, engineers, and restoration consultants to keep projects progressing while minimizing disruption to residents and tenants. Compensation is an hourly rate based on experience; overtime is available and encouraged, and job-performance bonuses are paid. Project scopes include concrete restoration such as spall repair, shoring, and epoxy and grout injection; waterproofing membranes, coatings, and deck and traffic coatings; air and vapor barriers; sealants, caulking, expansion joints, and glazing; impact windows and doors; and exterior painting and protective coatings. The company provides a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage for the employee and family, a 401(k), a vehicle or vehicle allowance, a cell phone and iPad, a company credit and gas card, and employee referral bonuses. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. The company does not sponsor employment-based visas for this position and participates in E-Verify.
