About The Position

Taylor Management is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of a high-rise residential building. The Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring the building's systems and common areas are well-maintained, responding promptly to resident requests, and coordinating with contractors and vendors. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years experience as a Superintendent or Maintenance Supervisor, preferably in a high-rise residential building.
Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and boilers.
Ability to effectively manage and supervise staff and contractors.
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Availability to respond to emergency situations as needed.
Valid driver’s license.

Black Seal License preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Oversee the maintenance and repair of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety systems.
Coordinate and supervise maintenance staff and external contractors.
Respond promptly to tenant maintenance requests and emergencies.
Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
