About The Position

HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting a seasoned, highly skilled Superintendent to join one of our valued client partners. We are seeking a construction leader with proven experience directing complex commercial construction projects, managing subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, and driving accountability across active job sites. This opportunity is designed for a Superintendent who thrives in a leadership-focused environment and understands how to successfully coordinate field operations, subcontractor performance, quality standards, safety compliance, and project execution from groundbreaking through completion. The Superintendent will serve as the primary on-site leader responsible for coordinating daily construction activities, directing subcontractor operations, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial construction experience.
  • Proven Superintendent experience managing active commercial construction projects.
  • Strong ground-up construction experience.
  • Tenant improvement (TI) project experience.
  • Hospital or healthcare construction experience.
  • Experience managing projects exceeding 60,000 square feet.
  • Demonstrated success leading subcontractors and multiple trade partners.
  • Strong knowledge of project scheduling, quality control, and jobsite safety.
  • Experience utilizing construction management software and reporting tools.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Local knowledge of the Cleveland construction market.
  • Familiarity with Cleveland-area subcontractors, suppliers, and municipal requirements.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • No current or future visa sponsorship requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Leading all field operations from project startup through project completion.
  • Managing subcontractors, trade partners, vendors, and site personnel.
  • Driving schedule adherence and project milestone achievement.
  • Monitoring jobsite safety, quality assurance, and compliance standards.
  • Coordinating with Project Managers, inspectors, architects, engineers, and ownership representatives.
  • Conducting daily site meetings and subcontractor coordination sessions.
  • Maintaining project documentation, daily reports, progress updates, and schedules.
  • Identifying and resolving field-related challenges before they impact project delivery.
  • Overseeing quality control procedures throughout all phases of construction.
  • Ensuring project scope is executed according to contract documents and specifications.
  • Representing the organization professionally with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
