About The Position

The Superintendent leads and manages field operations, crew performance, jobsite compliance, and quality control for plumbing and utility installations, repairs, and service work. This role ensures projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.

Requirements

  • Valid plumbing journeyman and/or utility foreman license or equivalent field experience.
  • Active DOT Medical Card
  • Strong knowledge of Georgia plumbing code, OSHA, and industry standards.
  • Ability to read blueprints, job scopes, and permit documents.
  • Proficient in ServiceTitan, mobile apps, and digital reporting tools.
  • Leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills

Responsibilities

  • Supervise crews across divisional projects.
  • Assign daily tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure proper staffing per job scope.
  • Conduct morning huddles, safety briefings, and end-of-day debriefs.
  • Inspect completed work for code compliance, workmanship, and adherence to scope.
  • Enforce installation standards, approved materials, and jobsite cleanliness.
  • Provide hands-on support for complex or escalated installs.
  • Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal plumbing codes.
  • Enforce PPE, trench safety, confined space, and hot work protocols.
  • Maintain DOT, OSHA, and permit documentation as required.
  • Coordinate with dispatch, warehouse, and divisional director for material delivery and job sequencing.
  • Adjust crew assignments based on job progress, weather, or emergencies.
  • Communicate delays, change orders, or scope adjustments to office staff.
  • Mentor apprentices, managed techs, and foreman on technical skills and company standards.
  • Conduct field evaluations and recommend promotions or corrective actions.
  • Support onboarding of new hires with hands-on training and jobsite orientation.
  • Represent the company professionally on jobsites and with clients.
  • Resolve customer concerns or jobsite issues in coordination with office staff.
  • Liaise with inspectors, GC superintendents, and vendors as needed.
  • Complete daily jobsite reports, crew logs, and safety checklists.
  • Submit photos, redlines, and field notes to ServiceTitan or shared folders.
  • Flag warranty risks, code violations, or material shortages proactively.
