Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Minimum 5 years of experience in the fire sprinkler industry
Strong knowledge of fire protection systems and applicable codes
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Nice To Haves

NICET (Level II, III, or IV) certification preferred
Hold the appropriate local/state license by jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate the installation of new systems, including designing system layouts, selecting appropriate equipment, and estimating costs.
Schedule and oversee the work of technicians and other staff involved in installation, repair, or maintenance projects.
Monitor project progress and identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate work activities, provide updates on project progress, and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure all sprinkler systems are functioning properly and perform any necessary repairs or replacements.
Monitor and manage budgets for sprinkler system projects to ensure that costs are within budget and projects are completed on time.
Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to field employees
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and implement corrective actions
Review daily reports, timecards, and project documentation
Enforce safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment at all times.
Support a culture of safety by promoting safe work practices and addressing safety concerns professionally.
