Requirements

  • Hungry, humble, and people-smart.
  • 10+ years of experience leading as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
  • Strong foundation from a vocational school, technical college, or a formal apprenticeship program.
  • Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and site blueprints, shop drawings, and solve mathematical problems with speed and accuracy.
  • Fluent in English, with the ability to quickly understand and execute complex verbal or written instructions.
  • Proficiency in Project Management software.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Readiness to hit the ground running on any job site.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects to completion with precision, speed, and the highest standards, prioritizing safety and excellence.
  • Lead teams of employees and subcontractors, ensuring daily field operations run smoothly, including safety checks and quality control.
  • Mentor and shape the next generation of construction leaders by sharing knowledge and experience.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to keep schedules on track, tackle challenges, and adjust to project shifts.
  • Ensure all aspects of the project, including financial goals, scheduling, logistics, milestones, and inspections, stay on course.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and exceeding expectations.
  • Set the standard for positive, professional relationships with subcontractors and vendors, instilling fairness and professionalism.
  • Actively participate in training programs, sharpening skills and staying updated on industry trends.
