About The Position

The Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of all assigned restoration projects; including temporary labor requests, equipment procurement and inventory, on-site management, paperwork accuracy, and quality control. The Superintendent is also responsible for working closely with occupants and property owners throughout the restoration process, including daily updates to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • 5 years of experience in the property emergency response situations
  • Extensive professional experience in leadership roles within the industry.
  • Detailed knowledge of relevant regulations and laws
  • Valid Driver’s license in good standing
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, kneel, and navigate active construction sites for extended periods.
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials or equipment up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to safely work in varying weather conditions, uneven terrain, elevated areas, and high-noise environments.
  • Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and stairs and inspect work in progress at various heights.
  • Manual dexterity and visual acuity sufficient to review construction work, operate mobile devices, and handle tools or equipment as needed.
  • Ability to wear and properly utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • IICRC certification is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate scheduling of subcontractors, consultants, inspectors and vendors to complete each project on time.
  • Monitor work and materials to ensure quality control standards are met at various stages of the project.
  • Communicate with the project team and support each subcontractor to execute job duties effectively and efficiently.
  • Perform inspections or schedule inspectors to meet the varying safety and compliance regulations of each job location.
  • Maintain written daily job reports.
  • Travel between multiple job sites and simultaneously manage workloads of individual projects.
  • Identify and resolve problems and conflicts, organize meetings and cooperate with team members in various roles as necessary.
  • Set an example in keeping the jobsite organized and clean, including meeting standards for waste disposal and environmental protection.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
