About The Position

The Superintendent II is responsible for directly managing a project’s construction activities to meet specifications, delivering the project within budgeted cost and by the scheduled completion date. This position is required to coordinate, plan, and supervise craft superintendents, contractors and/or craft activities on projects. This person should be able to oversee $1MM - $5MM with some guidance from senior level field leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Science, or Engineering or equivalent job experience required
  • Minimum of ten years of experience
  • Demonstrated success in managing the construction scope on mid-sized projects
  • Demonstrated planning ability, specifically in regard to Lean Tools for schedule, constructability, sequencing, etc.
  • Demonstrated computer skills with Microsoft Office suite, an iPad or handheld device.
  • Capable of learning new computer programs for project management and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day‑to‑day field operations, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with contract documents, drawings, specifications, and CRB standards.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage trade sequencing, manpower, and short‑term look‑ahead schedules to maintain overall project milestones.
  • Supervise subcontractors and craft personnel, providing clear direction on scope, quality expectations, and site logistics.
  • Partner closely with the Project Manager and project team to identify constructability issues, resolve field challenges, and support schedule and cost objectives.
  • Enforce CRB’s safety culture through daily safety activities, inspections, and compliance with OSHA and project‑specific safety requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control in the field, including inspections, testing coordination, and punch list activities.
  • Track and report daily progress, manpower, and production through field reports, photos, and CRB project management tools.
  • Coordinate material deliveries, storage, and installation sequencing to support efficient field execution.
  • Identify and communicate RFIs, field changes, and potential scope impacts to support change management efforts.
  • Support Lean Construction practices and assist with project closeout, including punch list completion and turnover activities.
