Under the general supervision of the Director of Golf, the Superintendent of Golf Grounds is responsible for the maintenance, upkeep, improvement, operation, and management of the District's golf courses. This role involves ensuring the golf course facility is maintained to current industry standards, managing inventory, and initiating work order requests for repairs and maintenance. The Superintendent also plays a key role in budget development and management, approving expenditures, and overseeing the work of staff, including hiring, training, and performance reviews. Other duties include attending board meetings, participating in professional development, ensuring off-season maintenance, performing snow removal, and maintaining a safe workplace.
