About The Position

This contract-to-hire, long-term role is for a construction client in the Laurens, South Carolina area. The Superintendent/Field Project Manager works onsite at project locations during the installation phase and oversees projects from start to finish. The position requires heavy travel to project sites.

Requirements

• 10+ years of construction experience.
• Mechanical or MEP knowledge.
• Understanding of project safety requirements and schedules.
• Ability to interface with subcontractors and handle project change orders.
• Ability to record and update daily project progress.
• Heavy documentation experience.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Willingness to travel heavily to project sites.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with ground-up projects.
• Pharmaceutical or healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project installation from start to finish.
• Serve as the point of contact with the client during the project.
• Understand and manage project safety requirements and schedules.
• Coordinate with subcontractors.
• Handle project change orders.
• Record and update daily project progress.
• Maintain project documentation.
• Attend project meetings.
