About The Position

This position will be based out of Augusta, GA. The Superintendent will manage and schedule bridge foremen and subcontractors, assist estimators and engineers with quantities and productions, and manage all construction activities of the project in accordance with contract specifications and drawings. The role requires full compliance with applicable safety and environmental regulations, executing construction activities in compliance with the applicable schedule and budget, and reviewing project performance on a continuing basis to recommend corrective actions. The Superintendent will also implement Company policies and procedures and assist with On-the-Job Training.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 - 7 years of bridge experience in Heavy/Highway/Bridge construction
• Excellent interpersonal skills to include strong verbal and written communication
• Must possess knowledge of FDOT contracts, specifications, and reports
• Must be able to think independently and solve problems effectively
• Must be able to interpret crane load charts
• Must be able to erect/set grade for bridge deck screed
• Must possess knowledge of proper crane hand signals and proper rigging techniques
• OSHA Competent person certification
• Must have an excellent driving record

Responsibilities

• Execute construction activities in compliance with the applicable schedule and budget
• Review project performance on a continuing basis and recommend to project manager corrective actions as required
• Implement the Company policies and procedures as required
• Assist with On-the-Job Training
