About The Position

At Stancil Services, excellence is built from the ground up — and as a Superintendent 3 in our Commercial Division, you are a senior-level field leader responsible for driving project success with autonomy, technical expertise, and seasoned judgment. You will oversee complex commercial projects, lead field operations with confidence, and serve as a key representative of the Stancil brand on-site. This role requires deep industry experience, advanced problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage high-level coordination across trades. This is a senior-level Superintendent role designated for individuals with extensive experience running projects independently. Superintendent 3 professionals are trusted to lead complex or high-value commercial projects and may provide guidance or mentorship to junior Superintendents and field personnel as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10+ years of construction site supervision experience.
  • Extensive experience in large commercial or multi-family projects required.
  • Strong technical knowledge and background in metal framing.
  • OSHA-certified with a proactive, safety-first mindset.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable under company policy.
  • Willingness to travel across the Carolinas as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent field experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Procore and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all field operations from mobilization through close-out, ensuring progress aligns with schedule, budget, and quality goals.
  • Lead complex commercial projects with minimal oversight.
  • Conduct daily site walks to verify production, safety compliance, and quality control.
  • Manage site logistics, labor, equipment, and subcontractors for optimal workflow.
  • Coordinate closely with the Project Manager to forecast needs, monitor costs, mitigate risks, and maintain schedule integrity.
  • Anticipate challenges and proactively implement solutions to avoid delays or cost overruns.
  • Enforce Stancil’s safety program and OSHA standards, conducting daily and weekly safety meetings.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free jobsite reflecting company professionalism.
  • Proactively identify and resolve safety or quality concerns, escalating issues with recommended solutions to the Director of Construction and Project Manager.
  • Ensure all work meets or exceeds Stancil’s craftsmanship standards and project specifications.
  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for builders, clients, inspectors, and field representatives.
  • Lead weekly coordination meetings addressing trade sequencing, scheduling conflicts, and scope alignment.
  • Document daily reports, safety toolbox talks, and site photos accurately and consistently.
  • Oversee inspections, punch lists, trade partner sign-offs, and project turnover documentation.
  • Foster strong collaboration among office staff, field teams, and subcontractors.
  • Provide leadership presence that drives accountability and performance across all trades.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
