Sunrise Electronic Medical Record Clinical Educator
About The Position
As the Sunrise EMR Clinical Educator, you will use your clinical expertise and specialist knowledge to coordinate and deliver all education and training activities related to the Sunrise EMR system. Working closely with clinical and non-clinical managers, you will support a consistent, contemporary approach to EMR use and clinical documentation across FUNLHN. In this influential role, you will provide high-quality face-to-face and virtual training, champion change, and act as a key communication link for decisions and updates relating to Sunrise EMR. You will contribute to the development and review of courseware and training resources, ensure alignment with AQTF principles where possible, and provide expert advice on EMR-related policy and workflow improvements. This is an exciting opportunity to lead digital capability, support staff, and help drive safer, more efficient clinical documentation practices.
Requirements
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia with a current practising certificate.
- Minimum 3 years post-registration experience with significant experience in a relevant clinical discipline.
- Current experience in a mid to senior level clinical or non-clinical healthcare role.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
- Proven ability to implement complex healthcare projects and information systems initiatives.
