About The Position

The Katz Center has an exciting opportunity for a temporary, part-time Summer Worker. The Summer Worker performs a variety of duties which involves independent judgement and discretion. The Summer Worker only works during the summer months of May and August; the Summer Worker provides additional support to the departments in order to meet goals, objectives and project deadlines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent/relevant experience, certification or license
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required
• Learning Agility: Ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and protocols, and adapt to changing priorities and work demands.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a team environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using office software, technology, and relevant computer applications.
• Communication: Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills for interacting with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Reviews project assignments in order to make decisions.
• Identifies and resolves issues using independent judgment and discretion.
• Participates in general event planning and implementation.
• Collaborates with key internal stakeholders as need to assist department with meeting deadlines.
• Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
