Eight hours Mon – Fri, Overtime may be required Mon – Thurs. Offering up to 2 weeks unpaid time off to accommodate summer plans with friends and family and an additional 5 days of unpaid time off to be used at your discretion.

Requirements

Good communication skills.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to read and write English.
Must be able to understand instructions.
Knowledge of UPS and USPS procedures.
Computer literate.
Be able to be cross trained on all other positions.
A clean driving record is required for employees who may be responsible for driving the box truck between locations.
Employees may be asked to travel to the alternate location in Landrum depending on workload. Any travel during working hours will be considered paid time, and mileage will be reimbursed.
Must be able to pass a Forklift Certification Exam.

Nice To Haves

One year of previous shipping experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Under minimal supervision, responsible for package processing for single orders and warehouse orders via computer systems and for all outgoing packages.
Must be able to palletize and shrink wrap warehouse orders for shipment.
Must be able to utilize UPS, Federal Express, etc., programs for shipment via computer systems.
Fold/Roll Product to be boxed.
Inspect & unload all sewn products, including both newly manufactured products and customer returns. (N. Lyles Ave location specific)
Pull stock for shipment.
Prepare hardware packs, support poles, truck tops, frames, and accessories for shipment (Foxy Rd location specific)
Must maintain quality assurance standards.
Must be able to communicate with the Supervisor or Manager to assist with problem solving.
Housekeeping of all areas.
Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
Must receive all incoming packages and create receiving records for packages that have an RA number.
Must be able to stock returned items in a timely manner, trace shipments via the computer and pick up packages at Customer Service.
Foxy Rd employees must also be able to prepare two of the following items for shipment – (hardware packs, frames, support poles, accessories, and truck tops).
N. Lyles Ave employees must be able to unload, fold, and roll tops and covers as delivered by the Eton system.
