About The Position
West Fraser Cochrane division is hiring for a Summer Student position, from May to August 2026. Applicants must currently be a student, enrolled in a Post Secondary Institute. The preferred candidate will have attention to safety and efficiency is a must. Good interpersonal and communication skills are also required to work in our team environment.

- Commitment to working safely and creating a safe work place
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to work a rotation of days and nights
- Currently be a student, enrolled in a Post Secondary Institute

Responsibilities
- Regular lifting of 15-25lbs and periodically up to 60lbs may occur.
- Put sticks in hopper.
- Replace empty stick carts with full stick carts.
- Monitor stick placement.
- Use various hand tools.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, wear all required personal protective equipment
