The Lands and Resources Department works to protect CLFN’s Denesułine, Indigenous, and Treaty Rights through assessing and addressing impacts to those rights, enhancing CLFN Stewardship over Denne Ni Nenne, increasing CLFN participation in, and oversight of, development activities in Denne Ni Nenne, supporting strong relationships with Industry, Government and other neighbors, and upholding the Livelihood for a Livelihood principle. This position is responsible for supporting LRD field operations during the summer. Students support a range of activities including site maintenance, facilities maintenance, and environmental field work. This involves spending a lot of time on the land using trucks, ATVs, boats, and hand tools to get things done in the bush. This is a fun summer job, but you will work hard as a member of a high-performing team.
