About The Position

This is a full-time Summer Student Research Intern position within Wake Forest University Health Sciences - Academic Cancer Biology. The intern will perform duties including patient and family visits, delivery of support services, studies, investigations, research projects, and other assignments. The role also involves administrative coverage of the office, such as answering phones and maintaining computer data, typing documents, creating spreadsheets and presentations, assisting with research projects, data analysis, and report creation, and data entry and filing. The intern will communicate verbally and in writing with all levels within the System and with the public.

Requirements

• High School, Undergraduate, Master's or Postgraduate enrollment required.
• Excellent planning, prioritizing, oral/written communication, interpersonal, problem solving, and team skills required.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team member and ability to respond creatively to a rapidly changing environment required.
• Computer skills required.

Responsibilities
