About The Position

PSEG is seeking a Summer 2026 Staff Intern for Corporate Real Estate Transactions. This internship is designed to provide exposure to the real estate aspects of the utility industry and to support the real estate team. The intern will assist with various tasks including market research, supporting the acquisition/lease/disposition team, data management, and administrative duties. This position is categorized as Hybrid Flexible.

Requirements

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited institution in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Pre-Law.
  • Graduating between December 2026 and May 2029.
  • Students graduating in May/June 2026 are not eligible unless they are enrolling in a post-graduate degree program in the fall term of 2026.
  • Incumbents must have completed sophomore level course work for consideration.
  • A valid driver's license and a safe driving record is required.
  • Must be able to commute to their designated work location as needed.
  • Must prove they are a citizen or national of the USA; OR a lawful permanent resident of the United States (Non-Conditional Permanent I-551 / Green Card / Permanent Resident Card holder); OR a citizen, national, or permanent resident of a “Generally Authorized” destination on the attached list not also a citizen, national, permanent resident of any country not listed; OR a “Protected Individual” under the Immigration and Naturalization Act (8 U.S.C 1324b(a)(3)) if the position requires access to information covered by the Department of Energy’s regulation 10 CFR 810.
  • PSEG’s drug and alcohol testing program includes pre-employment testing, testing for cause, and post-incident/accident testing.
  • Employees who are hired or transfer into a federally regulated role are subject to random drug and alcohol testing, inclusive of marijuana.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with market research for potential acquisition sites and leases.
  • Research enterprise property records to determine ownership of rights.
  • Assist in preparation and review of real estate documentation such as Service Easements, Leases and Licenses.
  • Help maintain and update real estate database (TRIRIGA), files, and other project information.
  • Assist in tracking key transaction metrics, such as costs/hours, identify trends.
  • Assist with scenario planning and analysis.
