About The Position

This role involves teaching specialized summer programs including Integrated Pre-K, Pathways, Learning Center, Connections, Tutoring, and Post Grad. The position requires planning and delivering instruction aligned with student IEPs to prevent regression of learned material. A student performance summary report and data are to be provided at the end of the program. The teacher will also be responsible for other general duties as assigned by summer administrators, the Superintendent of Schools, or their designee, and in accordance with Marlborough School policies.

Requirements

Licensed by the Department of Elementary & Secondary Education as a Moderate or Severe Needs Special Education Teacher for the appropriate grade level
Bachelor's or higher earned academic degree

Nice To Haves

Ability to effectively communicate in Spanish and/or Portuguese

Responsibilities

Plan, prepare for and provide instruction in accordance with student IEPs to prevent substantial regression of previously learned material
Provide a short student summary report of student performance, as well as any student data at the conclusion of the summer program
Responsible for other general duties as indicated by the Summer Administrators, directives of the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee, and policies of the Marlborough School
