About The Position

This is a temporary summer school position for internal applicants only. The position is located at Mazama High School and will run from June 15th to July 2nd, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. This job description applies to high school teachers unless otherwise identified by a specific teaching assignment in an alternate job description. Additional responsibilities and qualifications may be added for a specific position by the supervisor. The primary function is to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program, as designated by the Klamath County School District, in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. This role offers the opportunity to work in a unique environment in a supportive community surrounded by abundant outdoor recreational activities.

Requirements

• Hold or qualify for an Oregon teaching license through Teacher Standards and Practices Commission.
• Possess authorization and be considered highly qualified by the Oregon Department of Education.
