About The Position

A Summer School Site Based Coordinator supervises the activities of the GPS Solutions Summer School Staff and supports implementation of identified services in GPS Solutions PNP schools, in accordance with applicable contract, regulatory standards and guidelines. Oversees staff activities and ensures the training and development of all Summer School staff in research-based instructional practices with at-risk students, growth mindset, and teaching and learning methodologies for on-site and virtual instruction that is in alignment with state standards. Works closely with the Summer School Coordinator, Manager and Staff to develop strategic priorities and ensures implementation and evaluation of program initiatives with fidelity. Provides supervisory and implementation support of various functional services to PNPs including but not limited to: Data-driven decision making, professional learning, instructional and leadership coaching, operational support, culture and additional misc. offerings.

Requirements

• Supervisory experience
• Experience supporting implementation of services in schools
• Experience with training and development of staff
• Knowledge of research-based instructional practices with at-risk students
• Knowledge of growth mindset principles
• Knowledge of teaching and learning methodologies for on-site and virtual instruction
• Familiarity with state standards
• Experience developing strategic priorities
• Experience with program implementation and evaluation
• Experience providing supervisory and implementation support for services such as data-driven decision making, professional learning, instructional and leadership coaching, operational support, and culture development.

Responsibilities
