Summer Real Estate Internship Program - Accounting
About The Position
Pyramid Management Group, LLC, headquartered in Syracuse, NY, is the largest privately held developer, owner and manager of retail shopping centers in the Northeast. We are an entrepreneurial, forward thinking organization and a top tier company in our field. We are looking for motivated individuals for our 202 Summer Internship Program. This internship will provide the opportunity to shadow members of the Accounting department as they perform their duties, assist with recording and maintaining accurate financial records, and help with general accounting month-end closing procedures. Interns will also complete special projects as needed and other duties assigned.
Requirements
- Outstanding professional appearance and manner, with great people skills
- Outgoing, competitive, analytical, self-motivated, well organized, and highly energetic
- Exceptional verbal and accurate written communication skills
- Nearing completion of a bachelor's degree in business administration or related
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Responsibilities
- Shadow members of Accounting department as they perform their duties
- Assist with recording and maintaining accurate financial records
- Assist with general accounting month-end closing procedures
- Complete special projects as needed and other duties assigned
