About The Position

KeyBank's Enterprise Internship is a 10.5-week program designed to offer meaningful work, feedback, coaching, and engaging events to foster interest in a full-time career at Key. Interns participate in line-of-business specific projects that align with Key's business and strategic pillars. The program includes networking opportunities, Learning Labs with internal and external speakers covering topics like Key's competitive landscape, financial wellness, and professional development, and an assigned mentor. The Real Estate Capital (KBREC) division is a leading provider of commercial, healthcare, and multifamily real estate finance, focusing on building long-term client relationships through creative financing solutions. The Income Property Group (IPG) segment within KBREC provides project finance solutions for new development, acquisition/repositioning, and purchase/long-term hold of stable assets for private real estate owners. This internship is a direct pipeline for full-time Analyst positions, offering potential for graduates to start a Real Estate career at Key upon graduation.

Requirements

Must have completed at least two years toward a four-year, undergraduate degree program with coursework in finance, real estate or a related field with an anticipated graduation in or before May of 2028
Outstanding academic achievement (minimum undergraduate 3.3 GPA)

Responsibilities

Researching economic conditions and market trends
Developing strategic contact databases
Neighborhood, industry, and prospective tenant research
Field research and preparation of marketing materials
Completing a Capstone Project leveraging learnings from the Internship
Performing other duties as necessary to support the goals and objectives of the Real Estate Capital team
