About The Position

KeyBank Real Estate Capital (KBREC) is a leading provider of commercial, healthcare, and multifamily real estate finance, focusing on building long-term client relationships through creative financing solutions and a sense of urgency. The Denver office's Community Development Lending (CDLI) team specifically focuses on providing debt and equity capital for affordable housing and community commercial real estate reinvestment projects in low- and moderate-income neighborhoods. This Summer internship program is a direct pipeline for full-time Analyst positions, offering significant potential for interns to return after graduation to begin a career in Real Estate. Interns will engage in line of business specific projects that impact Key's business and strategic pillars, participate in networking events, attend Learning Labs with internal and external speakers, and be assigned a mentor.

Requirements

• Must have completed at least two years toward a four-year, undergraduate degree program with coursework in finance, real estate or a related field with an anticipated graduation in or before May of 2028
• Outstanding academic achievement (minimum undergraduate 3.3 GPA)
• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities

Responsibilities

• Researching economic conditions and market trends
• Developing strategic contact databases
• Neighborhood, industry, and prospective tenant research
• Field research and preparation of marketing materials
• Completing a Capstone Project leveraging learnings from the Internship
• Performing other duties as necessary to support the goals and objectives of the Real Estate Capital team

Benefits

• Hourly rate of $27 per hour
• $2,000 Summer Internship Sign-on Bonus
