About The Position
The Kidz Club is a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) facility, a welcoming, medically supervised day program serving children with complex medical needs. This seasonal opportunity is for experienced nurses who want to continue making a difference for kids and families during the summer months. It offers a chance to utilize clinical skills, compassion, and experience with children in a setting where every day matters. The positions are designed to align with school schedules, allowing nurses to work when the school year ends and return when it begins.
Requirements
- Active RN license eligible in the state of Kentucky.
- Recent graduate with a provisional RN license.
- Basic personal computer skills and comfort with learning electronic charting systems.
- A current negative Tuberculosis skin test (PPD) is required.
- Current CPR (Basic Life Support) is required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or a related field.
- Genuinely connect with children who have complex medical needs.
- Looking for seasonal work that feels purposeful.
- At least six months of current experience as a practicing RN with pediatric experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to children with complex medical needs in a medically supervised day program.
