About The Position
The Kidz Club is a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) facility, a welcoming, medically supervised day program serving children with complex medical needs. This seasonal opportunity is for experienced nurses who want to continue making a difference for kids and families during the summer months when school is out. It offers a chance to utilize clinical skills, compassion, and experience with children in a setting where every day is meaningful. The positions are designed to align with school schedules, allowing nurses to step in during the summer and return to their school year roles without conflict. Requirements
- Active RN license
- Experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or a related field
- Ability to genuinely connect with children who have complex medical needs
- Looking for seasonal work that feels purposeful
- Basic computer skills with comfort learning electronic charting skills
- A current negative Tuberculosis skin test (PPD) is required
- Current CPR (Basic Life Support) is required
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current RN licensure eligible in the state of Kentucky.
- Recent graduate with a provisional RN license.
- Basic personal computer skills and comfort with learning electronic charting systems.
Nice To Haves
- At least six months of current experience as a practicing RN with pediatric experience.
