About The Position

Serve as an overnight camp counselor staff at the summer music camp. Monitor residential spaces, enforce camp policies, and ensure campers’ safety and well-being. Assist with daily operations including check-in/check-out, evening activities, and morning transitions, while responding to camper needs and concerns.

Requirements

• Ability to complete minor training and live scan
• Experience working and communicating with people from various cultural, social, economic and educational backgrounds.
• Ability to collaborate with campus partners and follow institutional policies and procedures (including Title IX awareness)

Responsibilities

• Supervise campers and ensure safety, well-being, and adherence to camp policies and expectations by monitoring spaces, enforcing curfews/lights out, and conducting routine check-ins.
• Supporting enforcement of dorm and camp policies in a consistent and professional manner
• Assist with and support key operational tasks such as check-in / check-out process and keycard issues
• Assist with evening camp activities to support camper engagement and community
• Respond to emergencies and report incidents and communicate relevant information to supervisors in a timely manner
• Other Related Duties as Assigned
