About The Position
Capital Movers and Storage is looking for motivated individuals to join our team for the summer season. This role offers great experiences involving teamwork, leadership, customer service, physical challenges, and problem-solving. It's an opportunity to get paid to work out, have fun, and make your summer productive. This is a seasonal position for the summer period (May - September). Start dates are contingent upon business volumes, and regular hours may not be available until mid-June. Hours are variable throughout the summer based on order volumes, with some days being long and others potentially having no work. Most work takes place Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend work possible.
Requirements

- Capable of lifting up to 50-75 lbs.

- CPIC required upon acceptance of offer
Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Assist drivers, and work with a team of movers and packers to load/unload, pack/unpack household or office goods during all phases of the move.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of household goods shipments, at residences and warehouse.
- Competently perform assigned pack/unpack and load/unload duties with supervision.
- Assist with loading/unloading of appliances and fine furniture for commercial deliveries.
- Assist with packing/unpacking of breakable items.
- Comply with Walker’s/Capital Group Policies & Procedures and Van Line policies.
- Observe all health & safety protocols and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Assist with truck/trailer upkeep including folding of moving blankets, breaking down of packing material, washing vehicle and equipment as required.
