About The Position
The Summer Manufacturing Helper is a seasonal position that supports production operations. This role assists with basic manufacturing tasks, maintains a clean and safe work environment, and helps ensure efficient workflow across the production departments. This is an excellent opportunity for students or individuals seeking hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting.
Requirements
- No prior manufacturing experience required; training provided
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift and maneuver 55 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to read and interpret a tape measure.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or currently enrolled in high school/college (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Assist with assembly, packaging, and labeling of products
- Operate basic machinery and tools under supervision
- Load and unload materials and finished goods
- Perform quality checks to ensure product standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
- Support team members and supervisors with daily production tasks
- Report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly
- Follow company safety rules in accordance with OSHA regulations such as wearing required PPE, safety shoes, safety glasses, ear plugs and gloves.
- Follow all SOP’s and SWI’s required for the department.
