Requirements
- Passionate about Mountain Biking and the outdoors
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide excellent guest service
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to work flexible schedule in all weather conditions
- On the job training provided
Responsibilities
- Ensuring safe and efficient operational procedures of lifts including start up and shut down procedures in accordance with Z98 Code and the Lift Operators manual
- Greeting guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Scanning tickets, Bike Park access control
- Ensuring highest level of safety with respect to the load/unload area, ensuring that it is uncluttered and litter-free
- Assisting in the loading and unloading of passengers and Mountain Bikes, providing physical assistance to guests when required
- Establishing and maintaining all operational aspects of the lift station including; line control, tools and signs
- Maintaining high housekeeping standards of load/unload areas as well as lift huts, ensuring a clean work environment including cleaning/disinfecting of chairlift chairs and other lift operational facilities (proper PPE will be provided)
- Maintaining a high quality, friendly and cooperative relationship with mountain staff
- Performing all other duties as assigned
