About The Position
HLB Gross Collins is excited to invite rising juniors or seniors to join their one-day HLB Summer Leadership Program. This interactive program is designed to help participants hone their strengths and identify their goals as they prepare for a successful start to their career in accounting. The program aims to unlock leadership potential and foster personal and professional development. Participants will engage in experiential activities, conferences, and workshops both in and out of the office. The program will be hosted live and in-person in the Atlanta, GA office, with a plan to move to a fully virtual format if necessary, following all CDC, state, and local guidelines.
Requirements
- Rising junior or senior status
- Interest in a career in accounting
Responsibilities
- Network with industry professionals from staff, managers, partners, and the CEO
- Increase knowledge about various career paths in public accounting
- Participate in leadership workshops and gain valuable insight about strengths
- Learn interviewing best practices and resume optimization
- Experience HLB's company culture
- Form friendships with students from different schools
- Gain advice and tips from experienced professionals
- Participate in active and experiential activities
