About The Position

HPI Real Estate Services & Investments is a full-service commercial real estate company based in Austin, Texas, seeking exceptional college interns for a summer program. Interns will develop a deeper understanding of the commercial real estate industry and contribute to the team. The position includes administrative duties as needed and runs for six to eight weeks between June and August. Work is typically 20–24 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, with hours generally between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM or 4:00 PM and a one-hour lunch break that is not counted as work time. Hours may vary slightly depending on workload.

The selection process includes submitting a resume, cover letter, and application, followed by an interview and references if applicable. Applications are submitted through the Paylocity portal by the deadline specified by HPI. The company notes that interns may be considered for full-time employment in the future and recognizes one intern as “Intern of the Year” for making the greatest contribution to the organization.

Requirements

• Reside in the Austin, Texas area from June through August.
• Be currently enrolled in college and be a rising junior or senior.
• Have a reliable personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Have a strong work ethic, professional demeanor, critical-thinking ability, and self-motivation.
• Be personable, reliable, and a strong communicator.
• Submit a resume, cover letter, and completed application through the Paylocity portal by HPI’s stated deadline.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to HPI’s team and organization.

• Seek out ways to help or identify ways to contribute when work is not assigned.
