About The Position
AmericanAg®, a global provider of diversified reinsurance services, is looking for students to participate in our internship program next summer. These positions will be based in our office in Schaumburg, Illinois. The interns will work closely with their respected departments to work on a summer project and tasks. Our organization has proudly offered internship opportunities across Reinsurance, Client Relations, Underwriting, Claims, and Information Technology, providing interns with valuable industry experience. These internships offer a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to meaningful projects. We are looking for students who will be between their junior and senior years of college during the summer that have an interest in insurance and are eager to learn new things.
Requirements
- Students who will be between their junior and senior years of college during the summer
- Interest in insurance
- Eager to learn new things
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a well-organized manner
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. for ANY employer without the need for employment visa sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Business Objects, Power BI)
- Insurance knowledge or currently pursuing a degree in business, computer science, information systems, or a related field
