About The Position

This internship focuses on applying AI/ML and data-driven approaches within the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. Interns will assist in implementing AI/ML models for various stages of drug development, including discovery, formulation optimization, and data analysis. A significant part of the role involves optimizing analytical lab methods, identifying opportunities for laboratory automation, and working with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to manage experimental data.

Requirements

AI Implementation in R&D
High School diploma or GED—Required
Current full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university undergraduate or graduate program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field—Required
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0—Required
Must be at least 18 years old
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Must commit to the full duration of the internship (all interns must start no later than June 1, 2026 - August 28, 2026.)

Nice To Haves

Pharma, healthcare pre-requisites along with AI/IT experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
Hands-on experience in AI/ML implementation, preferably in pharmaceutical R&D.
Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, data pipelines, and AI deployment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the implementation of AI/ML models for drug discovery, formulation optimization, and clinical or analytical data analysis.
Support optimization of analytical lab methods using AI and data-driven approaches.
Collaborate with R&D and lab teams to identify opportunities for laboratory automation and process improvements.
Work with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to manage, analyze, and streamline experimental data.
