About The Position

This internship offers a unique opportunity for students pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in pharmaceutical, pharmacology, or chemistry-related fields. The role involves supporting laboratory activities within the Quality Control (QC) group, with a primary focus on assisting with the consolidation of the Branchburg QC laboratory into the Piscataway QC laboratory. Interns will also contribute to special projects initiated by the QC and QCTS management team.

Requirements

• Candidates pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in pharmaceutical, pharmacology Chemistry or related fields with good academic credentials.
• Ability to understand and analyze data possibly using software tools like Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc.
• Course in analytical chemistry, instrumentation, spectroscopy chromatography or similar subjects.
• Basic understanding of laboratory equipment.
• Science or Pharmaceuticals Major, Analytical chemistry or similar fields.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to laboratory activity to the Quality Control (QC) group, mainly helping in laboratory consolidation for Branchburg QC into Piscataway QC (80%).
• Assist with activities such as column inventory and arrangement, chemical inventory, document storage and archival.
• Contribute to special projects initiated by the QC and QCTS management team (20%).
